A reenactment of the last televised interview of the former Shah of Iran. One year since the monarch had been in exile and 75 days after the Americans had been taken hostage at the U.S. Embassy in Tehran, ABC News’s David Frost interviewed the Shah on the Island of Contadora in Panama a few months before his death. In the interview he is asked questions about illness and death, the possibility of returning to Iran, and exile as a form of vacation, among other existential and absurd questions.
